Medical and Other Related Expenses
The medical expenses (including outpatient treatments and the cost of dental treatment - as a result of accident only) and emergency assistance costs arising from sickness or accident during the trip include:
   
- Emergency medical evacuation and repatriation expenses back to Hong Kong (under doctor's recommendation)
   
- Overseas hospital admittance deposit guarantee up to HKD20,000
   
- For hospitalisation outside Hong Kong, or hospitalisation upon return to Hong Kong (more than 24 hours) hospital cash benefit of HKD500 per day, up to a total of HKD5,000 will be paid.
   
- Covers follow-up treatment due to sickness or accidental bodily injury within 3 months after returning to Hong Kong for up to HKD75,000 (Proof of first consultation with doctor received overseas must be presented). Coverage amount can be used for Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Bone-setting fees in Hong Kong for up to HKD150 per consultation per day and up to a maximum coverage of HKD2,000.
   
- Additional accommodation and travel expenses (confined to economy class) for travelling dependents returning to Hong Kong in advance, or close relatives visiting, or incurred from death or sudden illness of close relatives will be compensated.
   
- Cost for burial abroad or transport of remains back to Hong Kong up to a limit of HKD100,000

Personal Accident
Accidental death, loss of limb(s), eyesight, hearing, speech or permanent total disablement.
   
In the event of accidental death, the next of kin of the deceased will receive an additional HKD50,000 cash relief.

Delayed Baggage
Emergency purchases of essential items upon temporary deprivation of baggage for at least 10 hours from time of arrival at destination abroad for the Insured Person due to hijacking or airline mishandling. The compensation will be on a reimbursement basis.

Travel Delay
If the scheduled aircraft, sea vessel, or train is delayed for at least eight hours from departure, for the first eight hours of delay, the compensation is HKD250; for every eight hours thereafter, the compensation is HKD200; maximum claim is HKD2,000 or

Trip Cancellation

This Plan is available to person who is aged under 75 (at the departure date). However, the maximum amount for the benefits of Medical and Other Related Expenses and Personal Accident will be limited to 50% if the Insured Person is aged 70 or above (at the date of incident).
If the bodily injury or death of the Insured Person is caused by engaging in winter sports or underwater activities, the maximum amount for the benefits of Medical and Other Related Expenses and Personal Accident will be limited to HKD300,000 respectively.

Medical and Other Related Expenses

- (For Plan B only) For hospitalisation upon return to Hong Kong (for more than 24 hours), hospital cash benefit of HK$500 per day, up to a maximum limit of HK$5,000 will be paid.
   
- Expenses of follow-up treatment due to sickness or insured accidental bodily injury within 3 months after returning to Hong Kong for up to HK$20,000 (Plan A) and HK$75,000 (Plan B) (Proof of hospitalisation in Mainland China or Macau for over 24 hours and that of first consultation with doctor received overseas must be presented). Coverage amount can be used for Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Bone-setting fees in Hong Kong for up to HK$150 per consultation per day and up to a maximum coverage of HK$2,000.
(Plan A: follow-up treatment in Hong Kong does not include bone-setting fees)
   
- Additional reasonable accommodation and travel expenses (confined to economy class) incurred to return travelling dependent children back to Hong Kong in advance or by visiting close relatives, or incurred as a result of the death or sudden illness of close relatives.
   
- Cost for burial abroad or transport of remains back to Hong Kong up to a limit of HK$100,000.

Personal Accident

(For Plan A only) For accidental death, loss of limb(s), eyesight, hearing, speech or permanent total disablement due to bodily injury caused by an assault during a robbery in Mainland China, the maximum claim will be doubled, up to HK$400,000^.
