Home Buying Process

    • Upon decision to purchase the property, sign the preliminary agreement for sales and purchase and pay the initial deposit.
    • Appoint solicitor to prepare the necessary documents (including Sales and Purchase Agreement and Assignment Deed) and conduct land search.
    • Prepare mortgage application loan documents and apply for a mortgage loan.
    Step 3
    • Sign formal Sales and Purchase Agreement.
    • Pay deposit (together with initial deposit paid, total deposit normally equals 10% of the property price) and government stamp duty via the solicitor.
    • Obtain approval from bank on mortgage loan.
    Step 4
    • Solicitor will arrange for the signing of the Assignment Deed and Legal Charge on or before completion date.
    • After all legal documents have been signed, the solicitor will notify the bank to disburse the mortgage loan amount to the seller via the solicitor on the completion date.
    • Receive key of the property – transaction complete.
    Step 5
    • The home buying process is completed, you can move into the new home.
