and can be used as an ATM Card to withdraw cash from your
deposit account. You can also pay bills at merchant outlets
with your alpha card. Whenever your alpha card account balance
falls below the required amount for a transaction, your alpha
card will automatically reload(2) to settle the
payment(3) , which is much more convenient than
using cash! |

You can also transfer fund to your alpha card account in advance
via ATM of Hang Seng "Cash Deposit Machine", "Cheque Deposit Machine" or Hang Seng Personal
e-Banking to ensure sufficient fund for transaction. |

alpha card account is a non-interest bearing account. Funds maintained in the alpha card account are not protected deposit and are not protected by the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong, and the repayment of such funds is not guaranteed by the Hong Kong SAR Government's Exchange Fund. |

The amount of each auto top-up is HKD300, HKD500 or HKD1,000, depending on your choice upon application. The daily and monthly auto top-up limits are HKD2,000 and HKD5,000 respectively. |
| (3) |
If the balance of your deposit account, which is linked with your alpha card, is insufficient to cover the automatic reload, the auto top-up service will be cancelled. The relevant transaction will also be cancelled as a result of insufficient balance in the alpha card. |
| (4) |
Every cash withdrawal through local and overseas MasterCard/Cirrus ATM network or HSBC's ATM network overseas will be subject to a handling fee. For details of the handling fee, please refer to the alpha card monthly statement overleaf. |
