Hang Seng Bank Limited ("Hang Seng") is only acting as marketing sales agent in respect of Card Assist ("Service"), which Service is provided by and all information relating thereto are supplied by Card Protection Plan Limited ("CPP") to customers. CPP shall solely be responsible for the provision of and performance of all obligations in respect of the Service and under no circumstances shall Hang Seng be responsible for any matters relating to the Service. Please note that the Service contains no insurance element. Hang Seng, acting as marketing sales agent in respect of the Service, will verify the required data with customers for subscription, provision and maintenance of the Service for and on behalf of CPP and all such data shall only be used for the purpose of subscription, provision and maintenance of the Service and strictly in accordance with the conditions set out in the CPP Personal Information Collection Statement contained in the Service Terms and Conditions and such data supplied to CPP shall not be used for direct marketing purposes. In process of such transfer of data to CPP, CPP may transfer such data (including customer’s personal data) to locations outside the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If the customer wishes to upgrade Hang Seng’s database at the same time when Hang Seng verifies the data with the customer for the subscription of the Service, the customer should expressly make such request to Hang Seng separately.
Hang Seng and CPP reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Service from time to time. In case of any dispute, Hang Seng and CPP reserve the right of final decision. |
