As a good corporate citizen, Hang Seng supports a wide range of community sponsorship and donation programmes.
In 2012, Hang Seng made charitable donations and community sponsorships around HK$21.5 million.
The Bank's e-Banking customers have made use of the Bank's e-Donation Service to make donations of around HK$23 million to over 60 charitable organisations since the launch of the Service in December 2001.
Over the past decade, the bank have donated more than HK$28m to The Community Chest of Hong Kong under the Corporate & Employee Contribution Programme and other fundraising campaigns. The donation provides funding to over 150 charities in Hong Kong serving over 2 million people.
With enthusiastic support from Bank's staff and dollar-for-dollar donation by the Bank, about over HK$1 million was raised for the Chest’s Dress Casual Day annually.
In 2012, our volunteers gave over 25,000 hours of their time to participate in voluntary activities.

Hang Seng Bank Regeneration Society Top Ten Regeneration Warriors Programme
In partnership with the Regeneration Society, we promoted the importance of positive life values through the Hang Seng Bank - Regeneration Society Top Ten Regeneration Warriors Programme, through which 10 'Regeneration Warriors' shared their experiences in overcoming chronic illness to live rich and rewarding lives.
