As a good corporate citizen, Hang Seng supports a wide range of community sponsorship and donation programmes.

In 2013, Hang Seng made charitable donations and community sponsorships around HK$27 million.

The Bank's e-Banking customers have made use of the Bank's e-Donation Service to make donations over HK$24 million to over 60 charitable organisations since the launch of the Service in December 2001.
Our partnership with The Community Chest – which stretches back more than 25 years – has raised over HK$65m for 157 local charities.

With enthusiastic support from Bank's staff and dollar-for-dollar donation by the Bank, about over HK$1 million was raised for the Chest’s Dress Casual Day annually.
Voluntary Service
In 2013, our volunteers gave nearly 27,000 hours of their time to participate in voluntary activities.
Volunteer activities in 2013 include:
- Outings and craft workshops for underprivileged children
- Conservation and environmental programmes
- Mural painting in a local hospital
- Festival lunches and other outreach work among the elderly
The Bank's senior executives also served the community by taking up different roles and positions in charitable organisations and public bodies.
