As a good corporate citizen, Hang Seng supports a wide range of community sponsorship and donation programmes.

In 2015, Hang Seng made charitable donations and community sponsorships around HK$26 million.

The Bank's e-Banking customers have made use of the Bank's e-Donation Service to make donations over HK$30 million to over 80 charitable organisations since the launch of the Service in December 2001.
Our partnership with The Community Chest – which stretches back more than 25 years – has raised over HK$71million for 155 local charities.

With enthusiastic support from Bank's staff and dollar-for-dollar donation by the Bank, about over HK$21 million was raised for the Chest’s Dress Casual Day since our participation from 1994.
Voluntary Service
Since 2011, our volunteers gave nearly 110,000 hours of their time to participate in voluntary activities.
Volunteer activities in 2015 include:
- Outings and craft workshops for underprivileged children
- Conservation and environmental programmes
- Mural painting in a local hospital
- Festival lunches and other outreach work among the elderly
The Bank's senior executives also served the community by taking up different roles and positions in charitable organisations and public bodies.
Hang Seng - Regeneration Society Top Ten Regeneration Warriors
In partnership with the Regeneration Society, we promoted the importance of positive life values through the Hang Seng - Regeneration Society Top Ten Regeneration Warriors, through which 10 'Regeneration Warriors' shared their experiences in overcoming chronic illness to live rich and rewarding lives.
